The Shadow, Kage

The name is redundant, I know. I’m working on coming up with a new one.

Kage is stuck in the past, always looking back both because he feels he is never safe, and because things have always been better some time other than now.

He’s full of regret and this often drives his decisions, but half the time this only serves to make his situations worse.

Artist Notes…

While I did most of the work in building Kage into a proper character with a personality of his own, initially he was inspired by someone I knew. When we parted ways, I still wanted Kage to be a part of the story because his concept is fun to work with and unlike Kage, I am not going to let my past drive me. Everything but his name has been changed in some aspect both to make it my own, and to separate him from the history behind him. And also because its just better now, overall.
